football for hope center / baguineda, mali

the football for hope movement is a FIFA-sponsored program to fund 20 community centers for local, non-governmental organizations throughout africa. In mali, i was given the honor to work alongside a women's group that brought girls and women together through soccer programs to provide education, health consultations and work training. with the help of local consultants, contractors and the community, a center was designed in rural west africa that would facilitate the group's activities and provide a much needed meeting and learning place for local girls and women for many years to come.
